Our mission is to ensure our students' success with as many opportunities as possible. With guidance and support these students will flourish with respect for both their community and their environment.
Giving students another chance at life. Just because they couldn’t make it the first time doesn’t mean they won’t succeed this time.

Medical Wellness
Available all school year and throughout the summer. Contact Miss Tasia for more details.
Medical Wellness is a program ran by the school nurse, Miss Tasia. This program offers mental help services to any student who feels as if they’re struggling with possible or even diagnosed mental health disorders. Miss Tasia also offers substance abuse programs. These programs can either educate students on the dangers of substance abuse and how to avoid it, or do one on ones with students who are struggling with drugs and find them other ways to cope. Miss Tasia is also here to help with any other issues that may bring stress to the students, in full confidentiality.
College Now
All year long!
College Now is a free college transitional/dual enrollment program for New York City Department of Education high schools. Giving students the chance to participate in College Now prepares them for their future and allows them to have a head start in college credits. It encourages students to work and study hard earlier, accelerating learning and college preparedness.
Green Team
Every Saturday
Give students and parents alike the chance to have a community bonding experience while doing good for the environment. Work together to help clean up local streets and neighborhoods while gaining volunteering hours and the satisfaction of having a cleaner city. Set up recycling projects and introduce eco-friendly replacements to the city, save our planet one step at a time.
"Giving Back" Project
All year long!
Partner with local restaurants and stores to provide basic essentials like hygiene products and food to the unhoused. Open internship and volunteering opportunities to students at local businesses while giving back to our community. Let our students have a taste on how good it feels to give back.
Future Prep
Every Tuesday and Thursday
In NYCIDY HS we believe the future is now. We believe students don't receive proper education on what its like walking into adulthood and how hard it is when you can no longer live under your parents's roof. There is no better time than now to change that. We hope to offer a huge selection of courses including business introduction, money management, and financing. Another major field we will teach is how taxes work, what they do, and how we can manage them. Teaching students how to manage their money and what to do with it early on will give them a brighter future and pave their first steps to success.
